Psychosocial Interventions In Working With Substance Misuse: Refresher Training - 2 Days - T0284g

Abstract

The aim of the course is to enable participants to explore issues relating to the concepts of therapeutic approaches in working with substance misuse.  Course participants will be given thorough grounding in utilising a methodological therapeutic framework within the workplace setting.  Participants will be given advanced guidance in applying therapeutic skills in the context of ITEP and cognitive and behavioural therapy.  Attendance at this training must be by workers who have completed the four day psychosocial intervention course.
