Engaging Fathers Within Assessment Processes Training - 1 Day - T0205a

Abstract

The aim of the course is to familiarise course participants with the concepts relating to engaging fathers in assessment processes.  The course will focus upon best practice issues for workers whose role it is to work with families.  Concentration will be made upon how to engage fully with fathers and the impact that parenting can have upon them.  A range of aspects will be addressed throughout the training in order to fully review how to include fathers appropriately within assessments.  Emphasis will be placed upon working with fathers in order that they feel included and not excluded by services within an assessment process.
