Abstract

The aim of this course is to give course participants a comprehensive working knowledge of the interagency Policies, Procedures and Practice Guidance on the Protection of Vulnerable Adults.  The course will focus upon the roles and responsibilities of the difference agencies involved in the protection from abuse.  The course will clarify the decision-making processes at each stage of the procedures: identification, investigation and protection planning.  This will focus upon the completion of relevant paperwork and recording related to adult protection concerns.
