Understanding Working With Dementia: End of Life & Palliative Care - 1 Day - T0187h

Abstract

The aim of the course is to familiarise participants with concepts relating to Dementia in and how this impacts upon the person and how this affects those around them, linking into the remit of end of life & palliative care.  The course will provide a thorough review of understanding the rudiments of supporting people with Dementia in this area of practice.  The complexity of this phenomenon will be explored in order to enable carers to work in a more insightful manner in order to promote best practice in the workplace.  The course will thoroughly review the process of end of life & palliative care.
