Abstract

The aim of this course is to raise an individual’s awareness in the area of sexuality and the issues surrounding sexuality when supporting students. This course will highlight staff dilemmas concerning the area and address issues comprised within policies and procedural guidance.  There will be a focus upon equal opportunity issues concerning sexuality specific to people supported within educational settings.  The spectrum of sexual health issues will be dealt with throughout the training.
