Values Inclusion In Adult Services Training - 1 Day - T0198a

Abstract

The course is designed to help staff review the principles of work values with reference to working with people within adult services in order to fully appreciate the underlying value base to person-centred approaches pertaining to practice.  Course participants will review how these principles can be applied to direct practice and how they now impact upon people supported in adult services.  Staff will look at the inherent framework, including the legal aspects that underpin this area of working and become familiar in how to adapt these principles to their workplace setting, thus increasing the quality of life for the people they are caring for.
