Abstract

The aim of this course is to give an overview in addictions with regard to drug and alcohol misuse regarding children and young people.   Thorough guidance and exploration will be given in these issues in how they affect children and young people.  The course will aim to address complex aspects of additive behaviours in the drug and alcohol field in reviewing how to work and support children and young people more appropriately.  Course participants will familiarise themselves with best practice issues pertinent to this field.
