Mental Health and Young People: Leaving Care Implications - 2 Days - T0145q

Abstract

The aim of this course is to give an overview in the range of mental health issues regarding young people.   Thorough guidance and exploration will be given in mental health issues in how they affect children and young people.  The course will aim to address complex aspects of mental health in reviewing how to communicate complex information in a simple coherent manner.  Course participants will familiarise themselves with best practice issues pertinent to this field.  The course is aimed at young people in the process of leaving care and being supported following this period.
