Abstract

The aim of the course is to familiarise Senior Managers in the whole concept of investigation skills within safeguarding work:  Achieving Best Evidence and the implication this will have upon working practice in working within the civil and criminal justice system will be explored at length.  Senior Managers will review the skills required by staff that undertake investigative interviewing of vulnerable persons/witnesses in the process of giving evidence in line with Achieving Best Evidence rhetoric.
