Working with Children and Young People With Mental Health Problems: Implications for Practice Training - Two Days - T0145n

Abstract

The aim of this training is to familiarise course participants with the issues inherent in working with children and young people around mental health issues.  Course participants will gain an understanding by what is meant by these concepts and how to work with them when supporting children and young people.  Emphasis will be placed upon adherence to good working practice when working with these complex areas of work.  The rationales surrounding how to work effectively in terms of assessment and support will be explored at length throughout the training.
