Abstract

The aim of the course is to engage senior managers within the service to gain a thorough understanding of what Safeguarding Adult and Child Protection means from their perspective.  A range of issues will be addressed in order to give insight into this potential hazardous area of practice and the implications this then has for their specific role.  A full breakdown of the Adult Protection process will be given in order for senior managers to develop a good understanding of how their role fits within the system that they monitor and oversee.
