Huntington's Disease Training - One Day - T0269

Abstract

The aim of the course is to familiarize course participants with the concept of Huntington’s Disease. A full analysis of this disease will take place in order to address the range of issues that this disorder brings up for carers. Thorough analysis of the issues will be addressed in order to create insightful practice in dealing more effectively with people with learning disabilities and Huntington’s disease. The varying degrees of the disease will be explored in order to ascertain how best to work with individuals who are affected by this illness. There will be constant adherence to good practice issues throughout the training.
