Communicating With Children & Direct Story Work Training - One Day - T0266QU

Abstract

The aim of the course is to familiarise course participants with the issues inherent in communicating with children and undertaking direct story work with children and young people.  A range of areas will be explored in order that workers can begin to communicate more effectively with children and fully understand the remit of direct story work and the benefits of this approach.  Issues pertaining to best practice will be adhered to throughout the training course.  Course participants will undertake a test at the end of the course.
