Abstract

The aim of this course is to familiarise course participants with the concept of transactional analysis and how this relates to working practice.  Course participants will begin to appreciate how transactional analysis can be fully used in working effectively with people within a workplace environment.  Individuals will look at skill based practice in communication with service users and workers in order to fully understand how we can empower and disempower workers and service users through communication transactions.  The course is aimed at promoting best practice.  Course participants will undertake a test at the end of the course.
