Learning Disabilities Awareness - (Half Day) - T0213QU

Abstract

The aim of this course is to give course participants an understanding the principles of working with people with learning disabilities within community settings.  Participants will familiarise themselves with aspects of working with people with learning disabilities in terms of aspects of communication and how to fully understand people’s support needs in a more comprehensive way.  The course will analyse a variety of aspects that aims to inform best practice.  Course participants will undertake a test at the end of the course.
