Working With Difficult Carers and Relatives Training - 2 Days - T0231

Abstract

The aim of the course is to familiarise course participants with the concepts relating to conflict resolution and how to apply these principles directly in to workplace practice when working with difficult carers and relatives.  The course will recognise different aspects of conflict that staff and professionals may encounter when working with relatives and carers and be aware of different methods of resolving such conflicts.   The course will address a wide range of aspects relating to things such as communication in conflict, recognising warning signs and de-escalation techniques.  All aspects of this course are aimed at informing best practice in the workplace.
