Learning Disability and Mental Health Working With Bipolar Disorders - One Day - T0208a

Abstract

The aim of this course is to familiarise course participants with the concept of depression and depressive disorders, looking specifically at bipolar disorder when working with mental health issues and learning disabilities.  Full explanation will be given to this mental illness and how to work alongside those who suffer from this illness.  The complexity of this work will be explored at length in order that course participants can deal with this illness in an effective and coherent manner.  The main aim of this course is give course participants more confidence in supporting and managing clients who suffer with bipolar illness.
