Managing Violence and Aggression: Dealing With Difficult People - One day - T0133d
The aim of this course is to give staff thorough guidance in dealing with violence and aggression within the workplace setting. Staff will be given detailed advice and support in ways to deal with aggressive outbursts that individuals will come across in their workplace setting that fits into the government initiatives highlighted in the document report ‘A Safer Place – Combating Violence Against Social Care Staff. Individuals will learn the thorough use of de-escalation techniques and anger management when working with their client grouping and within office settings. The overall aim is to show a reduction in aggression and violence in the workplace through the use of conflict resolution skills.
