Abstract

The aim of this course is to give course participants an understanding of how the concepts relating to learning disabilities have developed and changed over time. Course participants will become familiar with how learning disability services have changed over the years and review of how people with learning disabilities are best supported. A thorough review of the historical development of learning disabilities will be dealt with on this course.
