Chairing & Convening Child Protection Conferences - Two Days - T0140e

Abstract

The aim of the course is to familiarise course participants with the process of chairing and convening child protection strategy meetings and case conferences. The course will equip those individuals whose responsibility it is to co-ordinate and hold strategy meetings and case conferences with a level of confidence in order to manage very difficult issues pertaining to Child Protection. The course will draw upon Child Protection legislation in a manner to implement the Child Protection process in a confident and competent manner. The course will focus on best practice within Child Protection work.
