Working With Sexually Offending Behaviours and Learning Disabilities - One Day - T0125b

Abstract

This course aims to address the issues inherent in working proactively and preventatively in sexual offending behaviours within people who have learning disabilities. You will be expected to cover a wide range of issues that are inherent in working with people with learning disabilities who display sexually harming behaviours that are directed towards either adults or children. The course will cover the full range of areas involved in control and change strategies that can be deployed within the work place when supporting people who have histories of sexual offending. Emphasis will be placed upon working with client(s) you support in a non-discriminatory and non-prejudicial manner.
