Early Intervention In Delusional Behaviour Training (1 Day) – T0378

Abstract

The overall aim of this course is to introduce course participants to the concept of early interventions in working with delusional behaviours. Course participants will begin to appreciate the fundamental aspects of early interventions in psychosis and delusional behaviours and the onset of problems associated with this. This course will combine a range of interventions in working directly with people with mental health problems. A range of aspects will be covered over the session to highlight the difficulties of working with an individual with delusional behaviours and how to cope with this highly complex area of work. Both the positives and negatives of the work will be addressed in conjunction with best practice issues.
