Complex Issues In Practice Training: Implications For Employment Services - Three Days - T0215

Abstract

The aim of the course is to familiarise course participants within employment services with the complexity of issues raised by individuals with drug and alcohol difficulties and / or offending histories pertaining to their behaviours. The course will cover a range of aspects and dilemmas faced by employment services when working within this field. Course participants will become familiar with the problems faced in the field of offending behaviours and drug and alcohol misuse and how this can affect employment opportunities for those seeking employment. Emphasis will also be placed on the concept of good record keeping in light of best practice issues.
