Abstract

The aim of the course is to familiarize course participants with the concept of Autistic Spectrum Disorders and Eating Disorders. A full analysis of these disorders will take place in order to address the range of issues that these disorders bring up for staff. Thorough analysis of the issues will be addressed in order to create insightful practice in dealing more effectively with people affected by these disorders. The varying degrees of the disorders will be explored in order to ascertain communication links with individuals who are affected by them. There will be constant adherence to good practice issues throughout the training.
