T0356c - Trauma Informed Practice Within Educational Provision (2 Days)

Abstract

The course will aim to train practitioners in Trauma Informed Practice and what this means from a worker’s perspective within the field of education. Emphasis will be placed upon a number of areas within the context of this course to enable staff to work appropriately in trauma informed practice. This will take an eclectic approach in order to up-skill the workforce for the duties that they undertake directly with children and young people within an educational setting. Emphasis will be placed upon best practice methodology throughout the course.
