T0365a - Care Act (2014) Training: Implications For Practice (One Day)

Abstract

The aim of the awareness training is to give course participants a working knowledge of the Care Act (2014). Course participants will familiarise themselves with the ascendance of the Act in terms of why and how this document came about. The course will inform current working practice and how this will affect current practice across service provision. Participants will become familiar with the legal aspects inherent with the Act and how these can be adapted into fieldwork practice. A range of dilemmas will be addressed in order that course participants can fully appreciate the contributionary factors pertaining to this Act.
