Early Intervention In Psychosis Training - Two Days - T0347

Abstract

The overall aim of this course is to introduce course participants to the concept of early interventions in working with psychosis. Course participants will begin to appreciate the fundamental aspects of early interventions in psychosis and the onset of problems associated with this. This course will combine a range of interventions in working directly with people with mental health problems. A range of aspects will be covered over the session to highlight the difficulties of working with an individual with psychosis and how to cope with this highly complex area of work. Both the positives and negatives of the work will be addressed in conjunction with best practice issues.
