Understanding & Working With Trauma Training - 2 Days - T0321a

Abstract

The overall aim of this course is to introduce course participants with the phenomenon of trauma and how best to work with this issue in presenting clients that you support. Course participants will begin to appreciate the fundamental aspects of the disorder and the onset of problems associated with it. This course will combine this disorder with direct emphasis upon working with people with dual diagnosis issues. A range of aspects will be covered over the training to highlight the difficulties of working with an individual with the disorder and how to cope with a complex area of work. Best practice issues will be addressed throughout the training.
