Depression & Anxiety Training - T0173

Abstract

The aim of this course is to familiarise course participants with the concept of depression, anxiety and depressive disorders when working with people with learning disabilities.  Full explanation will be given to this mental illness and how to work alongside people with learning disabilities who suffer from this illness.  The complexity of this work will be explored at length in order that course participants can deal with this illness in an effective and coherent manner.  The main aim of this course is give course participants more confidence in supporting clients with learning disabilities who suffer with depressive illness.
