Managing Violence & Aggression: Dealing with Difficult People in a Counselling Setting - 1 Day - T0133g


The aim of this course is to give staff thorough guidance in dealing with violence and aggression within the workplace setting. Staff will be given detailed advice and support in ways to deal with aggressive outbursts that individuals will come across in their workplace setting that can occur within a counselling setting. Individuals will learn the thorough use of de-escalation techniques and anger management when working with their client grouping. The overall aim is to show a reduction in aggression and violence in the workplace through the use of conflict resolution skills.
