Inappropriate Sexual Behaviour - T0125

Abstract

To enable course participants to understand and appreciate the complexities of working with people with learning disabilities who display inappropriate sexual behaviours.  Participants will be given thorough grounding in this area of work.  All levels of sexually inappropriate behaviours will be dealt from the very basics of this work right through to working with individuals who have come from a secure setting for some form of gross sexual assault.    Participants will learn the complexities inherent within the legal framework that fit into this area of work.  All levels of risk will be addressed, including conducting risk assessments.
