IAPT (Improving Access To Psychological Therapies) Training: The Applied Practitioner - 5 Days - T0325a

Abstract

The aim of the course is give course participants a robust understanding of the IAPT process and what this means for working with clients in the substance misuse field. Practitioners will become familiar with a range of interventions that come under the IAPT process and how these can translate directly into practice and work within a range of treatment models that are cognitive and behavioural in nature. Emphasis will be placed on giving participants a model of intervention using the IAPT process and concentration upon best practice methodology throughout.
