Abstract

The aim of the course is to give course participants an in depth understanding of the process of behavioural couple’s therapy and how this translates to working therapeutically with clients. The course will look at how behavioural couple’s therapy can be utilised in its own right in terms of the implementation in practice. A range of aspects will be addressed to analyse how behavioural couple’s therapeutic techniques can be used in an attempt to obtain the best therapeutic results when working with clients with substance misuse issues. The course is aimed at informing best practice.
