Abstract

The aim of the course is give course participants an understanding of the process of both behavioural couples and multi-systemic therapy and how this translates to working therapeutically with clients. The course will look at how behavioural couples and multi-systemic approaches can be utilised in their own right in terms of the implementation in practice.   A range of aspects will be addressed to analyse how behavioural couples and multi-systemic therapeutic techniques can be utilised in an attempt to obtain the best therapeutic results when working with clients with substance misuse issues.  The course is aimed at informing best practice.
