Domestic Violence: The Impact on Children - 1 Day - T0157c

Abstract

The aim of this course is to raise awareness in the area of domestic abuse in how this impacts upon the child.  The course will focus upon the effects specifically upon children and how children function within domestic abuse domains.  Emphasis will be placed upon understanding the signs and symptoms of domestic abuse within ‘family’ environments.  Practitioners will become familiar with how children can be best supported within this psychological traumatic arena.
