Non Violent Psychological Crisis Intervention Training - Two Days - T0133f


The aim of this course is to give staff thorough guidance in dealing with violence and aggression within the workplace setting using psychological interventions.  Staff will be given detailed advice and support in ways to deal with aggressive outbursts that individuals will come across in their workplace setting that fits into the government initiatives highlighted in the document report ‘A Safer Place – Combating Violence Against Social Care Staff’.  Individuals will learn the thorough use of de-escalation techniques and anger management strategies following a psychological crisis intervention pathway when working with their client grouping.  The overall aim is to show a reduction in aggression and violence in the workplace.
