The aim of this course is to raise an individuals awareness in the area of sexuality and the issues surrounding sexuality and learning disabilities. This course will highlight staff dilemmas concerning the area and address issues comprised within policies and procedural guidance. There will be a focus upon equal opportunity issues concerning sexuality specific to people with learning disabilities. The sexual health needs of all client groupings across learning disabilities from mild to multiple/profound will be dealt with throughout the training.
