The aim of the course is to familiarise course participants with the concept of the Human Rights Act and Learning Disabilities. A full analysis of these topic areas will take place in order to address the range of issues that these areas bring up for staff. Thorough analysis of the issues will be addressed in order to create insightful practice in dealing more effectively with people with learning disabilities and review how they are affected by the Human Rights Act. There will be constant adherence to good practice issues throughout the training.
