The aim of this course is to raise an individual’s awareness in the area of supervising staff within the mental health field in conjunction with their working practice. This course will highlight supervisory dilemmas concerning areas of practice, and address issues comprised within policies and procedural guidance pertaining to the supervision role. There will be a focus upon how the supervisory role can be utilised to improve performance and direct practice when working with clients that are supported. The course will emphasise best practice issues throughout the training.
