The course is designed to help staff review the principles of person centred planning with reference to the new SEN reforms and the implications this will have on practice. Course participants will review how these principles have evolved over time and how they now impact upon children and families. Staff will look at the inherent framework, including the legal aspects that underpin this area of working and become familiar in how to adapt these principles to their workplace setting, thus increasing the quality of life for the people they are working with.
