The aim of this course is to give course participants a comprehensive working knowledge of the Safeguarding and Protection Procedures relating to children and young people within a foster care environment for children and young people. Course participants will be given thorough guidance in the procedures that should be adopted within safeguarding work in a foster care perspective and familiarise themselves with aspects of practice that cuts across all service provision. The course is aimed at informing best practice.
