Abstract

The aim of this course is to give course participants a comprehensive working knowledge of the Safeguarding and Protection Procedures relating to children and young people.  Course participants will be given thorough guidance in the investigation procedures that should be adopted within child protection work and familiarise themselves with aspects of practice that cuts across all service provision.  This is specific to managers, deputy managers and seniors within services.
