Understanding & Working Within The Adult Safeguarding System: A Safeguarding Board Perspective - 1 Day - T0140a1

Abstract

The aim of the course is to engage members of a safeguarding board to gain a thorough understanding of what Safeguarding Adult’s means from their perspective.  A range of issues will be addressed in order to give insight in to this potential hazardous area of practice and the implications this then has for their specific role within their own agency.  A full breakdown of the Safeguarding Adult’s process will be given in order for board members to develop a good understanding of how their role fits within the system that they monitor and oversee.
