Autism & Autistic Spectrum Disorders - One Day - T0201a

Abstract

The aim of the course is to familiarize course participants with the concept of Autism and Autistic Spectrum Disorders. A full analysis of this disorder will take place in order to address the range of issues that this disorder brings up for carers. Thorough analysis of the issues will be addressed in order to create insightful practice in dealing more effectively with people who have autism. The varying degrees of autism will be explored in order to ascertain communication links with individuals who are affected by this disorder. There will be constant adherence to good practice issues throughout the training.
