Implementing Therapeutic Parenting - Awareness Training - 1 Day - T0357b

Abstract

The aim of the course is to provide course participants with an awareness of the concept of therapeutic parenting in assisting residential and educational services to provide therapeutic support to children and young people with the aim of promoting their resilience. The focus of the course will review the use of therapeutic parenting and how this can be utilised to assist children and young people with their own trauma and frame of reference. The course is aimed at creating best practice for supporting children and young people with ASD and Autism.
