Abstract

The aim of this course is assist foster carers and carers who support children who possess disabilities.  The course will cover a range of issues pertaining to disabilities in order to give course participants further insight in to a variety of syndromes/illnesses in order to equip carers with information that will assist in the caring role that they take on board as carers.  The course is aimed at informing professional carers in how best to support children and young people who are affected by their disability and or illness.  The course is aimed at informing best practice in the support of children and young people.
