Promoting Positive Support Training - 2 Days - T0317

Abstract

The course will aim to review the whole understanding of care practice in supporting people with learning disabilities within residential services in order to promote a person-centred ethos of practice. Course participants will become familiar with how our own personal values and attitudes can impact on the delivery of care practice upon people and how best to promote positive support to people who can become easily marginalised. The course is aimed at promoting best practice.
