Abstract

The aim of this course is to give course participants a comprehensive working knowledge of the issues specific to working with children and young people who are affected by being members of gangs and what implications this has for practice. Course participants will be given thorough guidance in the procedures that should be adopted within work of this nature from a care perspective and familiarise themselves with aspects of practice that cuts across all service provision. The course is aimed at informing best practice.
